Mast Irham
Mast is epa’s chief correspondent for Indonesia, based in the capital Jakarta. He has been with epa since 2004, the same year he was selected to take part in a photojournalism workshop organized by the World Press Photo in Hanoi, Vietnam. In nearly two decades as a visual journalist, he has covered both local and international news and sports events, such as Tsunami disaster in Aceh, the Bali bombing in 2005, massive demonstrations in Bangkok, the release of Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar, the FIFA World Cup and the Australian Open tennis tournament.
