Filip Singer
Filip, born in 1980, is a visual journalist originally from Prague. He joined epa in 2008 after having worked as a freelancer for major Czech newspapers and magazines. His body of documentary work focuses extensively on the ecology in polluted regions of the former USSR. After eight years as epa’s correspondent for Czechia and Slovakia, he relocated to Dresden in 2017 to become part of the newly established team of epa reporters covering Germany, before moving to Berlin three years later. Filip's images have been exhibited in various countries and he has been honored several times with the Czech Press Photo award.
