Dunkirk remember the migrants who died a year ago in the English Channel

Dunkerque (France) Nov 24 (EFE), (Camera: Nerea González).- Bryar, 23, Mhabad, 32, Deniz, 27, Hasti, 7... Up to 31 names were remembered today at a vigil in Dunkerque (northwestern France), before the waters in which they perished a year ago when trying to reach the United Kingdom illegally and their calls for help were ignored on both coasts. In total, 27 bodies were found floating in the English Channel on the morning of November 24, 2021, almost twelve hours after the first request for help received by the French emergency services, according to subsequent investigations.
